Merry Christmas

Bella's big party

The Galli's office party was at pump it up this year. It was a so fun! Rebecca also had a cake for Bella.  I can't believe she is already 5 Happy Birthday Bella we love you!

Mind Storms!

OK I had never heard of this program until Reb told me about it.  Its so cool, The boys are sponsored by there school to build a LEGO'S robot. The team gets a bunch of Lego's with a brain and they build a robot.  The boys then program the robot to do certain missions. This year the missions were focused on the environment.  They programed the robot to save a polar bear, move a house out of harms way and build a bridge. Josh's team was made up with 5 kids and one coach. The coach is not allowed to help the boys only to refocus them when they get side tracked.  I have to admit Coach Matt did a great job I would of gone nuts!  They worked on the robot for months. But the best part for the kids and adults was the competition day. It was so fun! these kids who compete in this program are amazing! The winners from Clovis were a group of 9yrs they are now going to nationals in GA. It was great to watch how much Josh has grown during this project.  He can't stop building and using the Lego program on the computer! He can't wait until next year!

Zion

Kevin and Josh camping with James, his boys and Oliver.  They went to see a Southern Utah football game (James is friends with the coach) and they camped at  Zion's.   They had a blast. Josh keeps wishing he could have a drink from the natural springs again. I think he has told me a hundred times that he didn't know water could taste so GOOD!  And he now would like to play football. I think it had something to do with going down on the field after the game and playing football for 2hrs with his dad and cousins.  Thanks James Kevin and Josh had a great time!

Thanksgiving

Ok I'm a little late in this blog but better late than never.  1st Just wanted to give a huge shout out to my mother in law Barbara.  She is amazing, not only did she take her vacation to watch my crazy kids for a week.  ( I just slept and played mommy with Brooke) . But she also stayed at my house, cooked great food. did my laundry. got my kids up and to school everyday and cleaned my house! Its never looked so good.  I'm so blessed to have her in my life and I'm very grateful for her!  So super thanks to a great lady!
Thanksgiving was a blast this year. Barbara made a beautiful dinner with some great sides by Sarah my sister in law.  And the company was great we had Kevin's grandmother and Barbara's sisters family come up from the LA area. Kevin's family has a great tradition of bingo with prizes and it was a blast! Lauren cleaned up this year I think she had 6 or 7 prizes, Go LaLa.  Timmy walked away with a darling Red Woman's wallet!  That poor guy every year gets a lady's prize.
Our photos are of the girls 1st experience of seeing what the turkey really looks like before its cooked. Least to say they didn't have any for dinner.

Signs of the times

Our little sign was stolen, So we decided it was time to get some serious signage.  I think they will have a difficult time taking this one!

Our new Prop 8 sign to replace the one that was stolen, hopefully it will last a longer then our last one.  Kevin drove around our neighborhood this morning to see how many of our neighbors still had their signs.  We had around 15 yes on 8 signs and only one No on 8 sign on our streets.  As of this morning there are only 4 left.  Its really sad that they are taking our signs.  What a waste of time.  I'm still voting Yes and so are my neighbors.

Signs of Fall

Ok no changing color of leafs yet here in Fresno, and its still in the mid 80's.  But a sure sign of fall for us is Soccer.  And Aleida had her 1st soccer game, She had so much fun partly because it rained the whole game (1st time its rained in like 200 days)  She also enjoyed her Dad coaching the last part of the game. Kevin is the Asst Coach for her team and will be coaching some of the games this season.  This is so much fun for our little family, Soccer and fall go hand in hand.  And we love it!

Swimming and Soccer

I never thought that when Josh and Aleida where both in school that I would be so busy.  Between homework, Scouts, Swimming and Just Aleida's soccer, not to even mention mine and Kevin's church callings. I have no time!  A friend of mine once said to someone who was expecting their 4th child, get ready to be physically exhausted and now emotionality exhausted. OUCH So I guess I'm in for a wild ride.

Lauren 1st Fancy Party

Lauren and Bella went to their 1st Fancy Party for a good friend McKenize birthday. They had a really good time.  Lauren loved getting dressed up.  I have to admit I love the age that Lauren is, 4 year olds are so excited to try new things except in the case of dance. Reb and I tried a dance class for the girls but Lauren refused to even go in the classroom.  Sorry Bella I think your on your own for this one.

Last Day of Summer

We went to the pool for our last day of freedom, School starts on Monday and so does piano, swimming club, homework, just to name a few.  Which means sleeping in, traveling, staying up late, really really late and just hanging with friends and family is over.  So it was only fitting that we finished our summer vacation as we lived it.  Sleeping in till noon, grabbing lunch at Sonic for Josh, Subway for the girls and heading to the pool.  I read my book while the kids swam, I even got in the pool, it was a great ending to a fun summer.

Firemen

Josh and Aleida had to get in on the Fire Station action at the Bluff View PreSchool.  They had to put out fires all over town, the bank, soda shop, costume store and the market.  Thank heavens for trained professionals.

Bluff View Pre-School

Rebecca teaches art at a very insane nice preschool I just had to show how crazy it is. The Co-Op that I was in last year  is so humble in comparison.  This school is amazing it has a train (real) that takes the kids on rides. A huge play area outside with a "beach".  Better classrooms then my Blue Ribbon school for my kids.  A computer room with 7 new computers.  A library to rival our city library.  Its just insane.   The photos are of the middle of the school its set up like a mini city. You almost feel like you are on a movie set. The owner Roxanne is so nice and the teachers rock. Rebecca is doing a amazing job with the art and painting.  Its just way to cool.
