IDOL

Last year Kevin signed us up to go to the show.

And finally we were able to attend. We only got

tickets to the dress rehearsal But

It was AWE some it was so much fun we saw all the

Idols and Ryan Seacrest He is so nice and quick witted.

I though they all did a good job but the judges still burned

them. We missed the judges (man they have it easy)

but still so much fun! It was great to see how

much work goes into every show and amazing they can

pull it together in 3hrs! I'll never look at a live show again

on TV and not appreciate the hard work behind it.

And it was totally Free, nice. The ticket had a age limit of 14yrs

old. So our little Idol fan had to stay home. We ended up

taking Chloe who had a blast! No photo's they even take

your phones away from you but still so much fun!

Hoping that we don't have to

wait another year!

Monterey Bay Aquarium

This year we wanted to find a great family activity that both Brooke and the older kids could enjoy. And the Monterey Bay Aquarium is it! If you haven't been I strong suggest it! We are so excited to use this pass this summer! And I love any extra excuse to go to the beach!

Student of the Month

We are so proud of our big guy! Josh has always been such a good student but it took k-4th to get the Grand prize! in his own words "I was so surprised! I though if I hadn't gotten it by now it wasn't going to happen" Its so amazing how important this is to him, I had no idea it was something he thought about. (such a good mom I know) We are so blessed that he has such a great teacher this year! To round out such a great accomplishment Kevin surprised him by taking him to lunch. I'm sure he had great day that he'll always remember!

Coco's cooken!

Chloe has started a cooking blog for kids, She's such a cute girl! Right now the BEST chocolate cookie recipe is on her post. I know you've heard that before BUT I'M SERIOUS its the BEST! I've got to get to Reb's and have one right now! YuMmY

LaLA and the CaMERA

I went to download my camera and to my surprise there where 200+ photos of our trip to pick up Bella.   I picked a couple I thought were really good, so enjoy the Ride thru the eyes of Lauren my little artist~

Valentines Day 

1st Donuts (eaten way before photo could be taken)

2nd Do nothing all day took really long nap (Broooke's present to us)

3rd Ride bikes to Me N Eds with kids

4th  Watch Movies all night snuggled up with the kids

5th  Take out for Adults: Sal's (the best food ever! does look good but oh mother its good!) and Jamba Juice for the girls.

6th  Enjoyed all the homemade gift my kids made!

7th  Went to bed early (I sure love my guy)

And ate all the candy I wanted all day and our brownie my mother in law makes us every year YUMMY

BEST DAY EVER!

Nie Nie

When I'm feeling sorry for myself and I need a little lift both spirituality and mentally I read Nie Nie she is amazing and it puts our "little problems" in perspective.  I think that you'll all love her as much as I do, you should check it out.  Its been a great blessing for me to pray and hope the best for someone I don't even know.  How grateful I'm for Nie Nie to share her trial with all of us it makes me feel like if I could only be half has brave as she is I can do anything.
