Shaver Lake

Our little family headed up the mountains to Shaver Lake. It was a beautiful day!  The water was warm and alot of fun to swim in.  The kids and Kevin swam out to some of the granite rocks and hung out for a while. I even got in on the action but so sorry no photos of me (be grateful, its mighty BIG of me to not take any)

ChopSuey

After a long day of swimming and playing with cousins we went to Panda Express for a late dinner.  Lauren was the only one who used her chop sticks, we where all impressed.

More Cousin time

We were so lucky to be able to spend more time with family. My Dad and Bree came up the Monday after we got back from San Diego and spent 4days with us and Rose came with Oli on Tuesday.  Rebecca and I had so much fun with everyone, all we did was play, swim and eat "Rose even got a facial".  We ate alot Kevin and Reb made some fine meals. The photos are all from Aleida.  Thank heavens she was on top of the picture taking or we would have no recording of those who braved the GrapeVine to come and see us.

What Aleida has been up to!

Aleida is hanging in TX with grandma. Doing the Hokey Pokey and you turn yourself around that's what is all about..

La Jolla Shores

I love the beach its so much fun to go down there and enjoy a beatiful day.  Lauren and Josh loved boogie boarding and stayed in the ocean the whole day.

Family Photos

My dear mother tries every birthday to do family pictures. But try as she might she is always missing someone.  Only half of the family is there. I'm even missing two of mine, Aleida and Kevin.  I love having a big family and feel so blessed to have so many people looking out for me.

Happy Birthday Mother

We had such a wonderful time with Grandmama, Happy Birthday!

We love you!

Say What???

We were heading to the airport and Kevin asked Lauren a question, but she couldn't hear us because her "earphones" where on.  Silly Lauren.

Legoland

Josh loves Legos so we checked out the Legoland Park in Carlsbad.

Kevin's favorite part was the parking we where able to park at the very front Nice huh !

The best part about Legoland is you can build Legos all over the place.

Whaley House

Old Town San Diego not only has great Mexican restaurants but a HAUNTED HOUSE.
I promised Josh we would go back at night so he can see the ghosts there kind of hard to see in the daylight.  But that didn't stop Lauren from looking.

Coronado Bay Bridge

Sarah, Josh and Lauren are hanging out in San Diego while Aleida is with Grandma Barbara in TX, and Kevin is working in Fresno.   We miss our little Aleedy  & Daddy!  Its just not as fun as it is with them but we are happy that Aleida is getting some good cousin time with Maddy and Luke.  On Friday we drove over the Coronado Bay Bridge.  The kids loved it.  We went with Peter, Cece and Oliver.  It was like a roller coaster ride lots of screaming!

Fourth of July

What a great day.  We started the day buying the "Block Party" pack of fireworks (it had 60 fireworks in it).  We were pretty excited for the sun to go down   Then we went to the pool.  It was really nice.  The temps were low 90's and we had a great breeze.  We had the pool to ourselves except for a couple of our friends we ran into.  We ate lunch at the club and headed home for more relaxation. We rented a movie and waited for the sun to go down.  We did however go to the school to watch the firework show with Sarah, Steve and Grandma (who also made a really nice dinner for us).  This delayed our fireworks a bit, but we did it.   All 60+ fireworks made it into our show.  I was a little worried about the screamers going off so late, but as Lauren says "Who Cares!"  It was a great day!

These pants are freakin' huge!

Our sweet Aleida loves clothes and wanted me to show her my new maternity clothes. I was too busy to sit with her so she checked it out on her own, 1st she loved my new Sunday Dress and told me that I picked something really cute.   Then I heard "Josh look at these, they are freaking huge!  Aleida was holding up my size M shorts and showing them to Josh. Nice! Now that I think about it they are kinda of big.

Aleida's Dance Recital

Here is a video of Aleida's Dance Recital.  They didn't allow cameras during the performance, so this is a video of the dress rehearsal.
